The interview is with folks in London over Zoom. They are professionals. But, the interview process does not reveal the actual work which can be very different. They may want to improve the process by focusing on actuals instead of hypotheticals.

A small coding test with the codility platform was followed by an interview with someone in the Coremont team. They asked about general knowledge of finance, as well as mathematical questions to check knowledge. Generally appeared to just want to see interest and competence.

A few rounds over the phone with quants in and software engineers, waited several weeks between rounds. Then discussion with cto and ceo. The process is faire but take a long time.
