Asked to present during interview and focused on how the company could be more inclusive to marginalised groups. Afterwards, I was told the panel were offended by the language I used (!). As an Arab-background WOC this was so disappointing to hear and quite offensive itself. I immediately ceased communication with the company after this as I fear it’s a typical mostly white team who cannot handle constructive suggestions on how they could improve and be more inclusive to women like myself. Shocking.
