J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Coolblue
Entretien
I applied for a senior position in an area I do not have experience. As requested in the application process, I attached my CV and cover letter where I explained why I wanted to change areas. I was called to an interview which made me very happy.
The interview started with a short introduction about myself. When I finished that introduction the recruiter said “bButyou don’t have experience in the area? We need someone with experience so you are not good for this job”. Then she offered me some other possible junior positions with a salary that was 30k lower than my current one.
Why would you invite me to an interview if I was not good on the first place? Why do you ask me to waste my time writing a cover letter if you are not going to read it? Then offer me on the spot other positions that had nothing to do with the one I applied that are in a lower position than my current one. (I am senior and these positions were junior).
The ironic part was that the position was in HR and even without experience in the area I know that this is not the way you treat a candidate.
