The initial phone screen with an HR person was skipped, so the first round interview was supposed to be with the Hiring Manager and an HR person. The HR person did not show up to that phone interview. The Hiring Manager requested a follow-up as an in-person panel interview. While scheduling the follow-up the HR person finally got engaged and salary levels were finally discussed. At that point the process ended because their salary range was far too low to consider.
