I originally applied through an ad on craigslist when the store first opened here in Hawaii. Now, all applications are submitted through the Converse website. I was called soon after submitting my resume for a pre-screening/phone interview. The pre-screening was pretty much verifying everything that was on my resume plus a couple questions about availability. I was then asked to attend a group interview. tips for interviewees
-dress the part: dont come in business attire.... be a rebel and wear your favorite pair of chucks.
-dont show up too early... 5-7 minutes prior to interview time is perfect.
-be on the ball. Listen carefully to questions and don't look like a deer in the headlights
-relax. and be yourself!

It was an online interview, self explanatory. Record yourself answering the prompts given. They gave about 2-3 mins to answer each question, and you get to review how you answered if you did not like your first take.

It was easy and laid back. I did the interview in the back stock room and it was very low pressure/difficulty. We did the basic interview questions and I was offered the job on the spot.
