J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Contava (Calgary, AB) en avr. 2016

      Entretien

I was initially contacted by a HR coordinator from the head office in Edmonton. She asked a handful of standard questions about my experience and availability. I was told there were about 200 applicants and that they'd be deciding the next step the following week. When I didn't hear back I emailed the HR coordinator and asked if she had an update. The HR manager (also in Edmonton) was away sick so no preparations had been made. Eventually I got a call from the general manager in Calgary to schedule an interview a couple days later. The interview lasted 90 minutes and was quite in depth about the position, the culture and a number of personality and experience-related questions were asked. I was told I made a great impression and that they would like to proceed to the next step which would involve meeting with the VP from Edmonton. I was contacted the following week to set up the third interview. I was told I would be meeting with a number of employees that interact with this position and following that I would meet with the VP. The team interview lasted about 45 minutes and was mainly a discussion about everyone's background and what they looked for in the type of person who would be in that role. The goal was for the general manager to get a feel of how I would fit into the team. I eventually met the VP and we had an 30 minute interview. At the end the GM said they would like me to take an online personality survey which would be the final step. The following day I got a link emailed to me for the survey which took about 20 minutes to complete. Because I was told they would be making a decision at the end of the week I called the GM and asked what the verdict was. I was flatly told that the person analyzing the results suggested that my personality didn't fit what they were expecting from someone in that role and although I had been through this rigorous and time consuming process that they wouldn't be giving me an offer.
