I interviewed with the recruiter and then received an email stating that they would like to move me to the next round in the interview process. I was asked to provide a few days and times for my availability but did not receive a response back. I followed up twice via email and never got a reply. As an adult, I can understand if something changed or if they made a mistake and requested my availability when I wasn't actually chosen to advance. All I ask is for a simple update email rather than being completely ghosted after being told I would move to the next stage. They mentioned internal candidates were also being considered, so even an update that someone internally was selected would be appreciated. It’s very unfortunate because I was excited about this role.

Internal role and promotion. Filled out an internal application and had a 1 hour scheduled with a couple of team leads. They said they would have a decision within a week. A pay increase would be determined by HR so they had no idea what to expect.
