There was a first interview with a manager in August then a second with a VP in November.
They first said they needed a Project Manager. I spent about 3h in the first interview going through experience, personality questions, situations.
Overall positive but not selected. I understood later that they hired somebody that asked for less money.
Second interview with VP. They realized that the first choice was not good and they got back to me based probably on the good impression I made to the first interviewer.
I appreciated the openness of the VP but didn't his managerial style and the pay.
It was understood and the rest was formality.
