Multiple rounds of interviews (phone, Zoom) and edit tests. Spoke with over 9 people in total. Lots of time between each round. They brought in recruiters after many months of the prolonged interview process.

Applied via a job site, was contacted by email, and set up an interview with the person who would be my supervisor. Never met with anyone senior at the time. People were friendly, even though I don't think it's the sort of place that makes everyone feel comfortable. They mostly asked questions related to the job.
