Applied online and spoke with recruiter regarding the position. The first round I ended up meeting in-person with three employees on the email strategy team. After that I received an "assignment" and about a week later had a final interview with a new employee was shifted to the hiring manage for that role. I eventually found out that I did not get the role. No reason was given and the recruiter didn't give any feedback. (The same position was posted on LinkedIn a few days later with a significantly lower salary range. I'm not sure if budget had anything to do with it or not.)
I realize that this specific department was going through some staffing changes at the manager/vp level, which made the whole process a bit disjointed. However the real saving grace here was the recruiter who was transparent and was always very prompt in providing updates and information regarding next steps.
