      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Condé Nast (New York, NY) en janv. 2007

      Entretien

I was contacted by a Recruiter who wanted to submit my resume to this company. The recruiter setup everything up between HR. On the day of the interview I first met with the HR Director, who took me over to where the interview would take place. I had three interviews that day. First I met with two people from the Network team and they asked me general questions about my work experience. Next, I interviewed with two people who would have been on my team. I was asked general questions about work experience and technical questions. Next, was the person who I would be reporting into and again was asked technical questions and general background and skills questions. At the end of the interview the Manager told me that the learning curve would be too high and that I did not have the right skills and that I would not be getting a job offer. However, he told me that there might be a position that would be opening up that was more appropriate. I thought that he was just saying that. However, a few weeks later I recieved a call from the same Recruiter who said that Condenast wanted to talk to me again about a different position. This time I interviewed with my would be Manager over the phone, which was one of the people I had interviewed with before. I then came in for an in person interview with two technical people from different teams, and finally I met with the HR Director who discussed general background and benefits. I was made an offer about a week later over the phone.
