I applied for an internship online and heard back about a week later. I didn't live in New York at that point so I went through a phone interview, as a 1:1 interview would not be possible for about a month or so. I spoke with the photo assistant, who would be my supervisor. She asked me a lot of the typical interview questions, such as "why Teen Vogue," "what are you strength/weaknesses." The conversation lasted about 20 minutes.
