I got a call from HR and I told her about my current salary as well as offer-in hand, she still decided to go forward, i went through all 3 rounds-telephonic, F2F, HR. Then finally after all rounds they say they can not offer me even what i had in-hand offer. They knew from the beginning but still called me on a weekday, took whole day and then did this. Really unprofessional, if you do not have the budget dont waste someone's time.
