J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Compass (New York, NY)

      Entretien

Was contacted through LI by an in-house recruiter. Scheduled a time to chat on the phone... After chatting on the phone and learning more about Compass, I let him know I was interested in him submitting my profile for a Sr. User Researcher position that was open. Next step was to talk with the hiring manager on the phone. She was very friendly and thorough. I was also given time to ask question I had about the role, team, and Compass. I also had a phone interview with a researcher I would potentially be working with. Overall, these felt more like two way conversations, than an interview, which I liked. Finally, I was given a research case problem to solve and present (in-person at their HQ in NYC). I was given about a week and half to prep/complete it. I was in awe walking into the office, it was beautiful, professional, and welcoming. The recruiter I had been working with fetched me from the reception area and brought me into the room where I was presenting (I was presenting to the User Research Direct, a tech VP, a Product Manager, and a Sr. UX Designer). The recruitment team already had printed copies of my resume and presentation available for attendees. A laptop (mac) was already setup when I walked in and my presentation loaded. I think the most impressive thing (outside of the office itself) was that the recruiter had a glass of water already at my seat for me, before I walked in. The entire process was seamless. I felt very welcome and at ease. After presenting my presentation and taking questions from attendees throughout the presentation I then went on to one to one interviews with various employees. The one to ones were very thorough and felt more like conversations than being in a traditional interview. I was asked to solve several research problems, but none of them were out of the ordinary. Also, I had lunch with the recruiter, which was really nice to be able to chat and ask questions. A day later I was contact by the recruiter and told that the team wanted to move on to the next steps, which was to talk with my references. I sent them over my references references and they were able to get a hold of them pretty quickly. The following week I had a formal offer and started the acceptance/on-boarding process. I started about two weeks after being given an offer. Between when I was first contacted and when I started, it was about a total of 5-6 weeks.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Very standard UX Research questions. More qualitatively oriented vs quant.
