J'ai postulé via une agence de recrutement. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Commvault (Theale, South East England, England) en mars 2025
Entretien
It was an assessment day organised by a recruitment agency called Pareto for Commvault at their Reading HQ.
There were just over 20 people interviewing for 2 English speaking roles, and 3 candidates for a Dutch-speaking role.
The day starts at 9 AM with breakfast and some admin before getting a presentation of the Company by the hiring team. Followed by a Q&A where candidates are encouraged to ask questions to show their enthusiasm for the role.
The first proper task was to present yourself and tell everyone what your greatest non-academic achievement was. Fairly straightforward and the hiring team would ask questions about said achievement to get a better idea of who you were.
The second task was a group exercise in which you had to prepare and present a mock pitch to a fictitious company. 7 people in each group and 3 would present. You were being assessed on your ability to contribute and add to the pitch. Being part of those presenting doesn't give you an advantage over the candidates, but it does give you more time to show your skills.
You break for lunch and then you move on to the final exercise which is 3 minute presentation followed by questions. This is the only time you are really 1 on 1 with the hiring team. In the presentation, you show 3 reasons why you want to work for Commvault and 3 strengths you bring to the company. The team were friendly and the conversation after the presentation was very enjoyable.
Before they announced the results they reinterviewed 4 of us to make a final decision on the offers.
At the end of the day, they pull you into different groups to tell you if you were successful or not. I was offered the role but declined due to having a competing offer which was closer to my current location.
Overall the process was good and the people at Commvault were lovely. My only negative is that the day did drag on and we finished almost an hour later than scheduled. But that can be expected considering how many people were at the interview.
