Had a phone interview with someone who appeared to be an inexperienced interviewer. Interviewer asked the same question twice, and didn't appear to be knowledgable. I have an impressive, and experienced background in psychology, can't understand why I didn't at least get an in person interview. No wonder they keep posting ads over and over again. They have inexperienced interviewers who get to decide who comes in for an interview.

The interview process was long. I applied online and heard back relatively quickly from an HR rep to set up a phone screen. They had me fill out some type of personality assessment before the phone screen. Then I interviewed in person at the Financial District location with two people. They also had me complete the Wonderlic test right before I interviewed. I received an email after about a week saying that they wanted to bring me in for another interview, with a total of 5 people. This was at a different location, the Back Bay office. The interview was 3 people for an hour and then 2 more people for an hour. Overall, their vetting process consisted of a telephone screen, a personality assessment, two in-person interviews in two different locations with 6 different people total (1 person was in both in-personal interviews, not sure why as it seemed redundant.) If that's not bad enough, it took them 3 weeks to get back to me to tell me they went with another candidate (and I followed up with thank you emails right after the last interview and asked for an update a week after my last interview, they told me they didn't have any info yet.) I understand that it's very competitive and they probably had a lot of applicants, but to me it felt like my time wasn't well-respected. Mind you, this position is entry level for someone with a bachelor's degree. It just felt excessive. To attempt to stay unbiased, it does seem like this company offers great benefits (based on their website, I obviously don't know for sure) and it is a private practice. Just make sure you really want to work here if you apply, as it's no joke!

The interview process was very long! Three interviews at two different locations with six different people. Put a lot of effort into these interviews and then not receive and offer was disappointing.
