Entretien
The interview process at Color of Change was more extensive than I expected. It began with an initial interview with a hiring manager, followed by a task, and then several additional interviews (more than how many I was told there would be). I did enjoy the interview process. It was intellectually rigorous, and I appreciated it. However, I ultimately decided to step away from the process. There just seemed to be a lot of red flags for me. One challenge I experienced was the limited scheduling flexibility — interview requests often came with a narrow 48-hour window of available times, which made it difficult to balance with other commitments. While the staff I spoke with were kind and transparent, it was clear there were ongoing concerns about morale and the overall work environment. In the end, I didn’t feel the compensation aligned with the time and effort required for the process, and I decided it wasn’t the right fit for me.

Very quick and easy. However, not as serious as I would’ve liked. A little unorganized and straight to the punch, I guess that has something to do with their high turnover. Overall I got the job but didn’t last long due to over working with rare breaks.

I had a 30-minute phone interview followed by a 60-minute panel interview with people from throughout the department. The process was simple and streamlined, although I was surprised to have a panel interview so early in the process.
