Got an automated invitation to complete an automated screening interview with a 72 hour deadline. The process failed to account for holiday and weekend hours, so felt like I had to comply or be eliminated from the process. However, then there was no response for nearly a month and ultimately an automated rejection. No recognition from the hiring team about the extra effort to complete during a holiday week. Would it have been too much to ask that the recruiters adjust the timing expectations during the holiday week? The automated process was fine and allowed for multiple attempts to get a clean recording. Some of the time requirements were tough to meet and forced prioritization.
