The hr told the interview was scheduled. But around 200 ppl turned up for interview..
The recruiters seemed amateurish n confused..
They din't call us till afternoon. Then there was a written 1st round.
Cleared it n then there was a f2f round. It was about 1.5 hrs n contained java, J2ee , spring, hibernate n db related questions. It was intense.. Answered quite well
After complettiin of 2 nd round it was around 4 and hr dint even bother to tell me whether I am selected or not.
Straightly he asked us that they would be calling us next week and telling the result.
But they never called.. it was utter waste of time..

I wanted to share my recent interview experience with Cognizant.
Before the walk-in interview, my current salary and expected compensation were already discussed. I attended the interview, cleared the rounds, and was informed that I had been selected. However, I did not receive any further communication afterward.
After following up by email, I was informed that there were budget constraints and that my current salary was higher than the budget allocated for the role.
While I understand that every company has salary bands and budget limitations, I feel this could have been assessed before scheduling the interview. It would have saved time and effort for both the company and the candidate.
My feedback to Cognizant is to align compensation expectations before completing the interview process so candidates have a better experience.
I hope this feedback helps improve the recruitment process for future candidates.

Interview process was smooth, technical questions must be prepared well and scenario based sometimes, based on the position questions will arrive, realtime work related handling P1 issues daily work flow and if you experienced then you have to be explain the previous work experience.
Applied through Referal, HR screeing, Techincal Round, Manager Round and relased the offfer letter and direct working for project not on bench
Overprocess to took to compelete is 2 weeks
