I have joined cognizant as a fresher. The Selection process involved three steps for a fresher. Step-1: You need to clear the written assessment which involves verbal, aptitude and coding questions where the difficulty level was medium and with a litte effort this round can be Cleared. Step-2: if you are successful in written round after few days you would be called upon for TR/HR interview rounds to some specific locations " This got changed in pandemic--Truly virtual ". Here your knowledge would be tested mostly on basics and keep your resume strong as usual. You will mostly be tested on your resume. Step-3: This is the final round where HR would question on your location preferences and soft skills. Be prepared for the most famous question "Tell me about yourself" Make sure you create the best rapport from the start by showing your commitment and team building skills with confidence and not getting much worried. You will easily succeed here. With in few days you will get confirmation on your interview and date of joining. All The Very Best..

It is quite smooth and easy. Basic questions asked. Not at all hard. Only surface of coding language knowledge is required. First there is tech round then there is HR round.
