Cognizant hired directly from school for the first time.... Recruiter contacted me asking if I would be interested in entry level QA position in North America. They asked me to send an essay about "How do you perceive the future of IT industry" and recommendation letters from my profs. After that I was told I am selected for on site interview in TeaNeck NJ. We had a group panel interview where they asked me questions about my essay and resume Questions were of general technical nature not specific related to programming or testing. Then later on we had a GD round. 12 of us were told they are selected. But they took almost one and half month to send an offer letter.
