Contacted a member of the team who set me up with an Analyst and an MD. Overall the experience was great with the Analyst. Very nice guy and threw some technical questions at me. In terms of my experience with one of the managing directors in the last part of the process, it was very informal. We met outside the office and there were 3 people at a table next to us who were talking extremely loud. Could barely hear the MD speak through out the whole meeting and on top of that it was very difficult to make conversation. Ultimately, ended up asking most of the questions and the ONLY question I was asked was "any projects that I've been working on?" Given that I am a recent graduate, the only projects that I've worked on were in my economics classes 2-3 years ago, which I have no recollection of.
Long story short, I was not offered the internship position and that ended up working out because I got a better position elsewhere.
Best advice - know a project and if you don't have one make one up and be able to provide some clear reasoning behind the project.
