I applied for the position and was reached out to a few days later by someone from Tapestry (their parent company). I set up a phone interview with HR, to which the process was fast and pleasant. A few days later, we scheduled a first interview with the Buying Manager. This interview was incredibly unpleasant and uncomfortable. The woman was unprofessional, said inappropriate things, constantly went off topic, and gave me no chance to speak. I had to fight to pivot her unrelated topics back to my experience and why it was right for the company. I didn’t hear anything from the company for a few days after until I emailed HR to follow up. They gave a short dismissive email about how they’re moving on with another candidate. It was a bizarre, unprofessional process, and tarnished my outlook on the total company.
