I was "screened" by one of the hiring managers and he told me that I would be called to NY for a face to face interview. After two weeks I sent a follow up mail to the HR and I was told that they are still searching for people even when I asked clearly that I should be told if I am being considered for this position yet or not. So, I am not really sure what it meant. I should understand the signs but It is really unprofessional on their part when they do not communicate clearly as to what the status of your application is after 3 weeks and that even after being told that you would be called for a face to face. The position is still open and the poster keeps on updating the posting date to make it more recent.
