J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez CoStar Group (Irvine, CA) en oct. 2020
Entretien
The nasty and arrogant interviewer grilled me with over 80 C#/SQL questions in 47 minutes. Not a single one was related to the google API experience they wanted. I missed three and was told I didn't know how to code.
I later discovered the questions were lifted from a web site on interview questions instead of organically derived based on their needs.
If you are a professional developer skip this place and keep looking.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Lots of "what is the definition of" questions and nothing about how they are used.
First interview with an internal recruiter, second with the team lead; questions and code to write, good feedback.
Next interview a developer who asked questions about C#, Asp.net MVC, and JQuery that went very in detail; you got to have a huge memory an remember methods 'name in JQuery because interviewer is chasing for that kind of errors. I got that what the interviewer is interested in is a person who integrates well with the team. The team is two Chinese developers and a Vietnamese Director, not diverse at all I should say. Asked me if I worked with Unity which can be learned in a couple of days and was fast to point it out as my weakness.
Then interviewed with the Director told me I am a very good programmer after answering all his questions which were normal interview questions for ETL development, unlike the memory test marathon with the dev.
However I did not get hired :)
They interviewed for 3 months now and no one hired.
Loss of time if you are not well suited for the team
