Unexpected, mass to kick off the interview process.. 50+ people in a call. The CEO came on and talked about himself for about 15 minutes, seemed a little self-serving. The hiring manager was very young and kept on calling me "brah" .. highly unprofessional experience that had me thinking the whole time if I was on candid camera or becoming part of a meme. Also had kind of a "cult-like" vibe with some of the other folks that spoke during the introduction portion.. a little creepy.

Surprise interview with a group of people with barely any time with us directly. Was never informed it would be a group interview and it seems inefficient and poor practice.
Hi, while our interview process is unusual we find that it allows us to find the candidates that are the best fit for us. We wish you the best of luck in your future career pursuits!

Surprised us with a company-wide call with no warning that was described as an interview. CEO discussed company culture, specifically told us if we turned off our cameras, or if we had tourettes, we would not be considered. We were then told if we wanted to work here, a good attitude would be wanting to work for free. Seems super disorganized, ableist, and illegal. (Hiring teams aren't supposed to consider race, sex, disability, or anything a camera communicates when selecting applicants. That's why most resumes don't include photos.)
We broke out into breakout rooms after the CEO finished putting his foot in his mouth, where we were interviewed in front of all the other applicants. Very unprofessional, uncomfortable atmosphere. There was only enough time for the interviewer to ask us all two questions.
We were then asked to complete a skill assessment. Upon delivery and subsequent follow up, I never heard from them again.
