J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cloudflare (New York, NY)

In a word, atrocious. Scheduling was a nightmare. My recruiter kept me as informed as he was, but half the time he had no clue either. The office interview with the team was the highlight of the experience. I met the entire infosec team and they're a bunch of super smart, talented, nice guys who know how to have fun and still get real work done. Marc especially was a delight to talk to. I left feeling confident and welcome. Eventually a call was scheduled with the CEO which went very well. I received a call a week later informing me I got the job and they were sending an offer letter. I verbally accepted. 2 weeks of no contact. Next thing I know, they're in a reorg, the offer was paused, and I had a call with the CTO. When he called me, he was disinterested. Couldn't have cared less. A week later I finally hear back, and they've rescinded the offer. Would I ever recommend Cloudflare? God no. With most of the team leaving and a reorg focused on looking good for a future financial move rather than security, the horrible pipeline, and the unprofessional and utterly unethical way in which the process concluded, I'd stay as far away from Cloudflare as I could. They wasted months of my life, time I could have spent looking for somewhere with a modicum of respect for the folks they're bringing in.

This was a unique and challenging situation, and I know you've talked to a few folks here, including our CEO about it. We are not experiencing a reorg but rather a leadership change, and we think it's imperative that the new leader has input on hires. This is critical for the success of the team here, and for new hires. We realize there is a human being on the other end of this decision. It was not made lightly, and this is not representative of our normal process. - Janet
