There was a short video meeting with a recruiter (20 min), followed by a video interview with the documentation manager (50 min). After this, there was an onsite (face-to-face) interview in the Budapest office with the doc manager and an engineer. The engineer was supposed to do a demo about the architecture of a "complex" system. The "complex" system architecture turned out to be a very simple system - simple to the point that it was actually a little bit funny to sit there and watch the demo, pretending that I participated in the game. When the "demo" was over, I was even supposed to ask questions (about the "very complex" architecture) and then I was asked to write a summary about the system. The interview was planned to be a 2-hour meeting: one hour was set aside for the demo and summary writing, and there was going to be a one-hour meeting (again!) with the doc manager. When I arrived, none of the interviewers had any idea when exactly the interview was supposed to be, or what exactly they wanted to do. In the end, it turned out that there was going to be no meeting with the doc manager at all (so the interview only took an hour). At the end of the interview, I was not informed about the possible next steps of the interview process or when they would get back to me about the result of the test.
