According to recruiter, I was going to get an offer, but at the last minute the role was put on hold as a contractor (already working for them) who could not make up his mind earlier applied for the role at the last minute and was accepted. My Advice, do not apply for senior level roles in clifford chance as they are not very transparent and you can run into same sort of issue as me. I would say, CC are not very professional if they think they can take interviewees and their time for granted. Overall, it may be a good thing not to work for this company.
