I applied for the position and then got a text message the same day with some simple follow up questions such as years of experience, highest level of education completed, and salary expectations. I then received an email to self schedule a virtual interview. I scheduled right away for the earliest date they had available which was almost two weeks away. Two days away from my scheduled interview, I received one email that my interview was canceled and a second email that was an automated response saying they have chosen to pursue other candidates. This was unprofessional and a waste of my time adjusting my schedule and preparing for an interview that didn’t happen.
