Recieved mail from HR regarding a drive for C++ developer. Reached the office at 10. Presentation began at 10.30. They briefed regarding the company, benefits, technologies and their products. Around 70 people came. First round was technical gd which is basically they ask a question and everyone has to tell whatever they know regarding that question. They divided groups based on educational qualification ( Mtech, MCA and Btech). Each group consisted of 7-8 people. My group's topic was - 1)what was virtual function. 2) What is the difference between TCP and UDP. I cleared the first round post which we had lunch. Around 11 people were shortlisted. The lunch they provided us was very good. After lunch they gave us 2 coding questions, which we had to write before going to the technical F2F. 1) Program to delete a node from a linked lists at nth position. 2) Program to reverse a string. Was called in for the F2F after an hour. The person who took my interview had a " I know everything " behaviour. The questions he asked were more like fact based like 1) Difference between c structure and c++ structure 2) Sizeof an empty class. I could answer most of his questions but he still rejected me. Rest of the questions I have written below. I felt he could have given me a chance as the person who took my gd was impressed with me and would have definitely selected me. The best part of the whole interview was the free lunch they provided. :)

Interview was data structures oriented not in too depth but basic understanding of linked list was expected. To a particular problem I was expected to first provide any solution through linked list and then write actual function to implement it.
Other than this, questions based on basic of c language were asked like questions on pointers. From OS side difference between multi processing and multi programming and multi threading.
