Contacted by a recruiter who sent me a technical test to do. This involved refactoring an existing application to use SOLID principles. Then had a technical interview with two managers from the company. The whole process took less than a week.

Intro call with Recruiter, and then tech test refactoring exercise, to refactor some code to adhere to SOLID principles. Tech test wasn’t very well explained, I was failed due to putting payment validation all In one place in it’s own class. Why would we have it in multiple classes? Makes no sense, and that wouldn’t adhere to SRP at all. Also test wasn’t well explained whether we should change the logic or just refactor the code. Overall I really didn’t like the technical test, but at least they gave feedback.
