The interview process started online with a simple application that included one essay question. I was contacted to set up a 30 minute phone interview shortly after my submission. Initially I was pretty nervous for the phone interview. Alex, my interviewer, was very personable and made it feel more like a conversation. The final round of the interview process took place at one of the schools and required me to teach a sample lesson to a class of 3rd graders. When I arrived I got to tour the school and see current teachers in action. This helped tremendously with calming my nerves, and it aided in the success of my sample lesson. Following the lesson, I had a group interview where I was asked several questions. Everyone I met during this process was informative and friendly.
