Was contacted by third party recruiter who forwarded my profile to the company. Interview process was as follows: 2 phone interviews and an onsite interview. Pros: - I had to reschedule multiple times due to my travels. The recruiter was very helpful Cons - For the second phone interview I was told "isn't a very heavy technical conversation"but I was grilled on computer vision algorithms and fundamentals. I would been better prepared if I was told it was a technical interview. my biggest concern - I was told after the 2nd round I will get an update in about 2 weeks,but received an automated mail saying I was rejected within a few days. I was surprised that the company did not have the basic courtesy of having a recruiter getting in touch with me to regarding the rejection. If this is how they treat their candidates/prospective employees, I can only imagine for current employees. I am glad I got rejected, as I would never ever want to work for a top-notch startup which treats people so bad!

I had an interview with a junior recruiter. Interview went well. However, I warned the recruiter that I was living out of the USA and that I would need a sponsorship to be able to work for Clarifai. He assured there was no problem for that. In his follow-up email, he then told me that it was in fact not possible to offer me a sponsorship at that moment, and that the hiring process was therefore stopping there.
