      Entretien

      I was contacted by the talent acquisition team at the beginning of February and was informed about the interview process, which included interviews with the talent team, the person currently in the role, the hiring manager, and a culture interview with two team members. The first three interviews were completed within a week and a half, after which I was informed that the culture interview would be replaced with a presentation. I was given a week to prepare and completed the presentation interview. Despite being thrown the curveball of the presentation, this was a very clear & open process that I had no issue with. Following the presentation, however, I did not hear back from the team for two weeks. When I reached out, I received an apology for the delay, which was attributed to a company offsite, and was told I would receive an update by the end of the following week. After waiting the additional week and a half, I was informed that they had decided to move forward with other candidates who were deemed "more technical." While I understand that rejection is part of the process, the reasoning was surprising given the lack of technical questions during the interviews and the positive feedback I received during my interviews/presentation, including comments like, "It's clear you have a grasp on this." Overall, while I appreciate the opportunity to interview, the lack of communication and clarity in the process was disappointing. Additionally, I would highly suggest using broader terms like "candidates who are a better fit at this time" to avoid any contradiction. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future candidates.
