I interviewed with 6 different people (30-minute phone screen, 4 30-minute competency interviews, 1-hour in person), and they were all generally good interviewers and really nice. They shared valuable insight about the role and the organization. My only critique about the process is that after participating in those interviews and completing a lengthy task, I received a generic rejection email from the Workday email. I would hope that an organization as people-centered as City Year would acknowledge the time and effort applicants put into the process in a more humanizing way.
