J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez City Year (Boston, MA) en févr. 2016
Entretien
I didn't apply to a city, I applied for the northeast region. First, I had a brief ~15 screening interview, and about 2 weeks later I had the formal skype interview. Once I was offered a position, I had two weeks to accept. The interview was formal, there were a lot of questions, and it lasted around 50 minutes.

Entretien
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
