There are 2 stages in the interview. 1st Stage consists of a written test with 3 sections. 1st Section is a cash reconciliation of a Broker Statement and Citco Cash Activity report. Look for missing transactions line item and a huge amount wrong classification in the broker statement. 2nd section is a journal entries test (10 questions) of your understanding of financial transaction (Sale of Shares, financial instruments), you will be given info on the relevant GL Codes and financial Amount. The last Section will test your knowledge on financial instruments (Stock Split, Derivatives characteristics and hedge fund structure & function), the questions in this section are mainly MCQs and checkboxes. The duration of the test was 45 mins. I was told that I will only proceed to the next stage of interview after passing the test. I thought i did not do well in my test. Fortunately, i was approached by 2 expats Account manager,VPs shortly. Perhaps, i managed to scrap through. The interview was a very causal one and was conducted very professionally. Both interviewers gave an account of what CItco is about , what the job entails and the issues facing that the staff were facing and what they are going to do to address it. Soon after, they started to post numerous amount of questions about me. The interview room was really chilly, try to request the HR Administrator to turn it up as it bothers me alittle but not too big of a deal.

The interview was a Whats App phone call for 15mins. Technology is so poor they do the interviews over whats app - computers don't have video calls, no teams or anything. Very few questions - barely felt like an interview.
