J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cisco (Lawrenceville, GA) en août 2011
Entretien
I applied online at cisco careers, got a call from the hiring manager about 2 days later. Did a initial phone screening. This was in June, had several email communications on status, then a phone interview with what would have been one of my peers. Few weeks later after several email communications, I was advanced to 3 webex interviews on the same day with Management and Sr Management. All interviews went well, no stress from from anyone except the Sr Manager. Completed background check and references list and official Cisco application. I was told i was one of 2 finalist and the favored. This is now August, and I wait and wait patiently. Then on my follow up email i'm told that the req. was put on hold

As a Networking Consulting Engineer at Cisco, my interview experience was quite rigorous but also rewarding. The interview panel delved into various aspects of networking, coding, and cloud technologies.
The interview began with fundamental CCNA questions, which served as a warm-up round. These questions ranged from basic networking concepts to more intricate routing and switching scenarios. I felt confident tackling them, as they tested my foundational knowledge of Cisco technologies.
Moving on, I encountered two coding questions of varying difficulty levels. The first was relatively straightforward, focusing on algorithmic problem-solving skills. It required logical thinking and efficient code implementation. The second question was more challenging, involving data structures and algorithm optimization. Despite the complexity, I managed to devise a solution and explain my thought process to the interviewers.
Additionally, the interview explored my expertise in cloud technologies, a crucial aspect of modern networking. I discussed my experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, emphasizing my ability to design and implement scalable network architectures in cloud environments.
