      Candidature

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Cintas (Morrisville, NC) en janv. 2017

      Entretien

I didn't apply to this job, but was contacted by a recruiter. After speaking with him we did a phone interview and then a week later I had an in person interview. I have to say, I really enjoyed the first guy I interviewed with, who moved up to the position of manager from SSR. The other guy who was in the management training program right out of college I liked just fine, just not as much as the first guy. Anyway, they were both cool yet professional. I first interviewed with the cool guy for about an hour, and then with the college guy. We went over my work history, reason for possibly wanting to leave my current company, accomplishments and reason for looking to work for Cintas. I was honest and open the entire time, as were they. They did ask me a lot of "tell me about a time when" questions which was fine. I was more or less able to answer every one of them efficiently. I asked a TON of questions which is why the whole process took nearly 2 hours, even asking about their family lives. I wanted to see who I would be working for, ya know? What I really appreciated was how open they were. They didn't want to waste any more time on me if I was not comfortable with exactly what the job was and how I would be paid etc. I also did not want to waste their time as they were so nice yet professional, so ultimately I was offered an interview the following week with the hiring manager of the state with a full day ride along but turned it down. I turned it down for a few reasons; I was told by the recruiter there was NO cold calling, when in fact, there is some cold calling which was explained during the interview. I was told how their vacation policy worked which really does not work with this year's upcoming schedule for me, and I was sold on the idea of the job by the recruiter as more of a sales job, but there is actually more service than sales to it, AND it's for a bench mark position, meaning I wouldn't be making commission until up to a year down the road, maybe a few months, maybe 10, they didn't know and I appreciate that they were honest about that. I was not told it was for a spot to get a spot in the future by the recruiter, although he seems like a nice guy, I politely told him the reasons why I did not want to continue with the interview process, so maybe the next candidates he picks out, he can be more honest with them. If you do interview and go on the ride along, just think about the show 'Under Cover Boss.' YOU'RE STILL BEING INTERVIEWED ON THIS RIDE ALONG. Please don't be fake, because this company does seem really great, and they obviously want really great people, but just keep that in mind. You're being monitored so see how you act in front of clients, as well as they're judging your enthusiasm to learn, so ask tons of questions. I think it's a great job for someone, just not someone like myself.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a really upset customer. How did you handle it? Honestly this was last week so I'm having trouble remember any more of them, but they were all basically like that. They want to get to know how you operate. He had a whole list of questions, so just answer honestly and you'll be fine. If you have work experience that is!
