I asked my friend to refer me & I got a call from the recruiter. First round was an online test on hacker earth. It was a 90 mins test, It had MCQs and SQL coding questions. The MCQs were based on concepts of data engineering git modern data warehouses etc. After the online test first round of interview was scheduled. I have questioned SQL DBT & python data modeling concepts like dimension & fact tables. I was also asked questions based on the things mentioned on my resume & some scenario-based questions. After the first round I was rejected but honestly I felt the technical interviewer had 10 years of experience and he was expecting the same level of expertise from me who had 5 years of experience even the JD mentioned 4+ years of experience

The interview process consisted of an initial recruiter screening, followed by a technical assessment focused on problem-solving and domain knowledge. Successful candidates then participated in one or more technical interviews with the hiring team, covering project experience, technical skills, and system design. The final round was a discussion with the hiring manager to assess team fit, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
