J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Chubb (New Brunswick, NJ) en août 2020
Entretien
Initial HR screening that was with the HR discussing the role and providing background on experience. Then followed by multiple rounds (5) of 30 minute interviews with managers and stakeholders. No tricky questions that had to be solved on the spot but some asked for details of how certain experiences shaped my career.
After a promising initial phone interview with a basic recruiter at Chubb, I was told the next steps would include a panel interview with directors and VPs. However, after not hearing anything for a while, I had to proactively follow up to understand where I stood in the process...only to learn that I was no longer moving forward as a candidate.
This was especially disappointing because I’m highly qualified for the role and have performed nearly identical responsibilities at Fortune 500 companies. I was genuinely excited about the opportunity to apply my experience in a smaller company like Chubb and take on new challenges within the insurance industry.
The lack of follow-through and sudden shift in communication felt like the rug was pulled out from under me. It’s unfortunate because the role and company initially felt like a great fit.
