The interview process was actually really fun, which I don't think I've ever been able to say about a job interview before. It felt less like a job interview and more like a discussion between peers in a smoky lounge about the current state of the paper, where the editors envision taking it, and the overall prospects of the news industry and what tools we can use to tell 21st century storues. Everyone was candid, honest, and asked probing questions that let me know they actually read through my cover letter and resume. (It was a 2-person interview.)
