I applied online and was contacted shortly after. I had a brief conversation with a recruiter over the phone and was invited to come in for an in person interview (Columbia, MD). When I walked into the office, I liked what I felt. It seemed like a young company. They were playing music throughout the office and seemed like their employees like to have fun. There were 4 others in the office sitting waiting to be called for their interview as well, which felt kind of weird we were all scheduled on the same day, at the same time. I was called back and talked to a guy about the opportunity. He barely asked me any questions, which I found weird. I left after 15 minutes and later that day was called back by a different recruiter who said he loved me and invited me back for an interview the next day. This time, I interviewed with a different guy and another interviewee also came with us. The guy kind of made us compete and said he "loved challenge and competition". We were asked a lot of scenario questions and just basic interview questions. This latest over an hour. Finally, the guy told us the hours were 11-9PM everyday, including Saturdays, with shorter hours Saturdays. I also found out that it is door-to-door sales, but they have several positions online. I quickly found out that they were all the same position, door-to-door sales. Eventually, they said you don't do sales and you grow into a management role, but everyone starts the same way. They promote from within so even with a degree, experience, etc, you still have to start by doing door-to-door sales and working late. The base pay was barely enough to survive as well, on top of having to commute 45 minutes to the office. I got offered the position, and had to decline. I also found it strange I found very little to no company reviews on this place, never a great sign.
