Multiple series of interviews with management, physicians, med director, and staff. They wanted to know me as a person and wanted to make sure I would fit their organization. They are dedicated to offering quality and timely relationship-based care with frequent follow ups. The model is based on preventing bad outcomes through frequent monitoring and increased patient compliance based on the team-patient relationship and trust.

They use a strict STAR interview format (situation, task, action and result) for physicians as well. Sample questions: Tell me about a time when you managed a patient's chronic health condition and kept them out of the hospital. Tell me about a time when you managed a patient's diabetes, what medications and what was the result. The interview process did take about 4 hours total with multiple rounds, some virtual. Everybody was very kind and open, but certainly motivated to stick to the structured STAR format for the most part.
