The process with the recruiters was easy and enjoyable. The problem was going to the scheduled appointment only to discover the two decision makers I needed to meet with were not there. I had to meet with someone who would have been on the same level as me and not the person with the authority to make a decision. I knew something was wrong as the person conducting the onsite interview asked questions but took no notes and did not even take me on a tour of the facility. This could have been a Teams call, rescheduled or canceled. My time and day off wasted and completely unprofessional. Good news is I dodged the bullet of possibly working for an organization that has Managers that conduct themselves in this manner.
