The interview process with Charlie Health was unfortunately disorganized.
I initially had a conversation with an HR team member who indicated I would be moving forward to meet with the hiring manager. After some delays, I was asked to join a second call with the same HR person to discuss an assessment requirement (the Raven’s assessment). I completed/passed the assessment over the weekend. Shortly thereafter, I was told the company had decided to focus on other candidates.
It was clear that my resume had not been shared with the hiring manager prior to asking me to take the assessment, which resulted in wasted time and effort. The “hurry up and wait” approach, along with unclear communication, gave the impression that the HR representative was quite green and ill-equipped to manage the hiriing process efficiently.
Basic best practices here, such as reviewing resumes with hiring managers before assigning assessments, would go a long way.
