I got an interview two weeks after I applied online. The first round was an onsite interview. There were two interviewers who were very kind and supportive. They asked about my understanding of the company, the role, and four behavioral questions. It took around 1 hour, followed by a 10-minute lab tour. A few days later, I was informed that I had progressed to the second round. This was an online meeting that lasted about 20 minutes, mainly focusing on why I think I’m a good fit for the role and whether my background matches the position. After that, I never heard back with any updates. This is the only part that made me feel very sad. Many companies at least give a rejection call or email, but I didn’t even receive a rejection email.
