J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Charles Hunter Associates

      Entretien

I applied online and called soon after to make sure my application had gone through, I got in contact with their talent acquisition who led me through a 2 stage interview process. He was very attentive, called a lot. The first stage was fantastic and I met two team leads who were great. The second stage was slightly more difficult and with the MD of the company. However, i was impressed and I did manage to get an offer. I had applied for the role which was advertised as 20-22k, however I was called with an offer for 16k and a long recruiters spiel about how it would pay off in the long term to be earning that much for the first 6 months (lol!) I explained that this was not doable for me in my current situation and the recruiter said he’d come back to me to see if he could do anything - he just didn’t call back! I tried calling him but couldn’t get through to his phone all day (I imagine he actually blocked my number!) Instead, an incredibly cowardly move from him considering his job is to contact candidates regardless of whether it’s a difficult conversation or not, his colleague called me to explain they could not go higher than 16k. That was not the problem, the problem was the deception until that point in the process after honesty and integrity had been preached to me and in their values, those were the two things that were not offered. A shocking example of talent acquisition and honestly laughable that he was not able to call me back himself! This review is not to tarnish the company but just be careful of making sure you ask questions about salary etc because the recruiter I spoke to confirmed 20-22k when we first spoke on the phone and after a lot of time, effort and expensive train tickets for me, decided to lowball me. Don’t fall into traps!! To be honest, don’t bother with CH, it seems like a company that’s good to start off with but I promise other agencies offer more than minimum wage, especially if you’re a graduate like I am! I’m not sure what kind of recruitment agency they’re running but there is a very clear lack of professionalism!

Thank you for your review of your interview process and I am sorry you did not share the experience we would have expected. However, your feedback is not entirely true in its content. You did indeed interview for a Recruitment Consultant role and did progress to second interview. Unfortunately you did not meet our assessment criteria required for a Recruitment Consultant role. However, we did see your potential and were able to offer a Resourcer position with a view to training to you become a Consultant in a set time period. We set very stringent standards at Charles Hunter Associates and all hires have to be fair to one another and as such whilst we could not offer you a consultant role at this time, we were prepared to offer an alternative to give you the experience required. Regrettably you declined this offer as it does carry a lower salary. At no time did we deceive or misinform you of our intentions. Where we can accommodate unsuccessful candidates in other roles where they show great potential that we will invest in, we will try where we can, which on this occasion we did. But as stated you declined that option. Sorry that this did not materialise as you wanted, however I suggest you concentrate on our informative feedback we shared with you if you wish to pursue a career in recruitment.
