The company I was working for prior to Centra was purchased by Centra and my job was going to be done away with. However, because of a need an office had management asked to interview me for that position if I was interested. It was a panel interview.

Recruiter was instantly responsive within 24 hours of the submitting the application and received frequent communication for the first week and an interview was set up in less than two weeks. Interview set up with another NP and a physician. They went into detail of the department set-up, which appeared to show a lot of work and commitment. I was satisfied with their approach to patient care and ability to mentor. It was a patient population for which I had previous experience so I did not have a lot of questions, mainly because they were so thorough in their explanations. I didn't think questions about pay, benefits, etc. were appropriate for a first interview. The recruiter gave me a timeline of when they wished for someone to start and asked if I would be available to relocate, which was not an issue.
Then I started seeing the position posted again directly by Centra, but initially unconcerned because I just assumed they had multiple positions available. I followed up with the recruiter over the course of several weeks and got the "we are still interviewing" response each time. The process was extended so far out that completing credentialing to relocate within the time frame they originally gave me would have been impossible.
I would never assume I was the best qualified person for any position, but please don't leave candidates hanging. It's unprofessional. It comes across in a negative light and will have a major impact if they ever apply with your organization in the future. Interviewing is a two-way process.
Historically, I have always been told I interview very well and rarely do not get job offers if I am able to secure an interview. The interview was a little awkward because the questions were superficial and did not provide the opportunity to give in-depth answers.

Question 1
Because we ask nurse practitioners to cover different areas within our department, although we make every attempt to make patient assignments fairly, sometimes there can be a bit of an imbalance. Would that be an issue for you.
